Play Roundtable 1: A Fine Romance: Playing a Satisfying Romance in Larp

Moderated by: Alex Roberts

Featuring: Jason Cox, Kate Hill, Clio Yun-su Davis, Morgan Nuncio, and Cameron Betts

Romance is a common theme in larps, and players often incorporate romantic and intimate relationships into games that aren’t necessarily focused on them. How do you play a satisfying romance, communicate your desires and boundaries with other players, and process romantic bleed? Speakers will discuss their own experiences, both positive and negative, explain why romantic play is meaningful to them, and share techniques they’ve learned along the way.
