Organizing Roundtable 1: Bridging the Gap: Bringing Nordic LARP to the US

Moderated by: Tyler Brown

Featuring: Bjarke Pedersen, Garett Kopczynski, Kathaleen Amende, Ken Pickering, Evan Torner, and Lizzie Stark

This roundtable will discuss the implementation of Nordic larp principles in United States contexts. Participants who have experienced both communities of play will discuss their experience playing, participating and running Nordic games, as well as their attempts to run Nordic games in the US and establish a framework for assisting others. This roundtable will also discuss larps the participants have run, and plan to run, that are in the Nordic style and our experiences in bringing it to American audiences that are both larps and non-larpers.
