Fifth Keynoter Announced for Living Games 2018!
The Living Games Conference 2018 is proud to announce our fifth keynote speaker for the event! The conference will feature several short keynote speeches from presenters with a variety of different backgrounds related to larp, who we will announce periodically in the months leading up to the event.
Without further ado, our fifth keynote speaker is:
Sharang Biswas is an award-winning game designer, writer, and artist based in New York City. His latest role-playing game, Feast, won the Dark Horse Award at IndieCade 2017, and his last board game Mad Science Foundation, was published in 2016 by Crypotzoic Entertainment. He has spoken at and taught game design at events such as IndieCade. GaymerX East, and the Boston Festival of Indie Games, as well as institutions such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, The Museum of the Moving Image, and Games for Change. Sharang has also created interactive theatre and performance-based games that have been exhibited at various theatres and galleries in NYC, has contributed essays to ZAM and Kill Screen, and writing to the role-playing games Hyperlanes and Susurrus: Season of Tides.
Sharang holds a Masters from ITP at NYU-Tisch, and a Bachelors of Engineering from Dartmouth, where he learned game design from Mary Flanagan. He is currently an experience designer with The Medici Group, a global consulting firm.
